The Columbus Blue Jackets have signed goaltender Curtis McElhinney to a one-year contract for the 2013-14 National Hockey League season, club General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced today. As is club policy, terms were not disclosed.

Translation: Anton Forsberg said to have signed a contract with Columbus, but shall spend the next year on loan as one of two goalies in MoDo.

According to EliteProspects, MoDo already has two goalies under contract, but one is 19 year old Sabres prospect Linus Ullmark (he's been excellent for Sweden's junior team internationally) and the other is Austrian Bernhard Starkbaum, who might have interest from NHL teams.
