The Columbus Blue Jackets have signed right wing Gavin Brindley to a three-year entry level contract beginning with the 2023-24 season, the club announced today.
Thank you for the update. Was trying to figure out why they would sign him just to only give him one game and burn a year. From the press release:
Since Brindley is 19 (by September 15 of this year), his ELC will slide and the first year won't get burned unlike for some of the recent signings.

seen him play for the last 7 years. he will be a solid nhl player.Brindley is a personal favorite player of mine. A lot of players with his feet don't have the hockey sense that he does. His work ethic will play up and down the lineup so even if the offense doesn't translate (I think it will) I see him making an impact regardless.
I’m not great at comparisons but I see him as a Cogliano type.I have no clue if his game will transfer to the pros, but he looked great in college. Stankoven v2
