I wasn't at all bored, but admittedly, I'm partial to a good defensive game. Have always put defense first. It's like watching the ocean...powerful (Weird I know).

I'll gladly take 34 more games like that the rest of the way if it gets us into the playoffs.

That's not really the point. 2 points is 2 points and that's great. But the assertion that that is what a well played hockey game looks like for either team is just wrong.

Agreed, certainly not well played. The whole notion that it was some great game smacks of an "I can appreciate things some of you peons just can't grasp" attitude. Or words to that effect. :laugh:

At least they're good enough now defensively that they can get points even when they're sloppy and inconsistent offensively. That's a tangible improvement over years past.

Eh, after the Vancouver game where the canes badly outplayed them for most of the 2nd and 3rd, only to get a loser point, its nice to get 2 when they didn't play well.
