Carolina Update, Trade Block

Greetings,

Here is an update on the goings on at the Carolina facility to start the 2019/2020 HFNHL season.

Contracts

A few of our established players have signed long term contracts with their NHL squads. The top two deals are quite good for the Carolina HFNHL team moving forward. We will not resign them to these deals until the HFNHL deals are complete.

• Colton Sissons

Training camp

We have a few graduates (signed players) in camp this year with several of them making the team.

• Jesperi Kotkaniemi
• Colin White
• Oskar Lindblom
• Jordan Binnington

the rest of the graduates are on the farm team needing a further boost on their ratings for next year

• Isac Lundestrom (late cut for the NHL team)
• Lias Andersson (on the NHL team)
• Mason Shaw (late cut for the NHL team) (very pleased with this!)
• Carsen Twarynski (on the NHL team) (very pleased indeed!)

We are hopeful on the holdout by Julius Honka that he gets traded to an NHL team that wants him.

I saved the best news for last....

TOBIAS BJORNFOT MADE THE NHL KINGS!!!!!

As an 18 year old defenseman?!? AMAZING

We will have an up and coming team in the next few seasons for certain.

TRADE BLOCK

The team would be interested closer to the trade deadline in moving some of these players for a second round pick. Their salary is quite reasonable considering the contribution they can make on a "going for it" squad.
