There’s a distinct possibility it was unintentional lol. I’m not aware of a serious rivalry. Maybe the intern got called to make some copies and forgot

Genuinely curious, do Canes fans consider Caps their rivals? Judging from the initial twitter searches it seems they’re more upset about Ovechkin punching Svech than the Caps fans are upset over the loss lol.

It’s natural to want a team to root against. What’s the fun in following the league when your team isn’t involved if you don’t have that antagonist?

Personally, I don’t need the Caps to be the Canes’ rival to dislike them. Tom Wilson is enough. I’m still rocking my Ryan Reaves avatar a year later for a reason.
