They allowed 24 shots the whole game; that's 8 per period. Shot quality can be debated but you miss all the shots you dont take...

Why don't we utilize the more dynamic offensive players at the end when trying to score quickly or even just the players currently on a hot streak?

Edmundson was certainly bad but Staal gets at least 1 or 2 prime scoring chances a game he does absolutely nothing with.
