Was surprised no one signed him before this season, he can still put up points off the benchIt was interesting to know he hadn’t already been retired.
Just do it for both.the second best #15 in nuggets history. are they going to retire 15 twice? same thing with the angels giving 27 to trout when it was previously worn by HOF'er vlad guerrero who deserved to have his # retired (but hasn't)

Happy retirement but one of the most overrated stars in any sport ever.
Don't sell Eddie Hughes short.the second best #15 in nuggets history. are they going to retire 15 twice? same thing with the angels giving 27 to trout when it was previously worn by HOF'er vlad guerrero who deserved to have his # retired (but hasn't)
With the way Carmelo left and Joker still going, it will be a long while.Just do it for both.
I had questioned if Carmelo was in that zone and then I saw the other numbers the Nuggets retired and think they pretty much have to do this and ask why they ever reissued 15 at all. With the way Carmelo left and Joker still going, it will be a long while.
He left in a bit of a stink and probably didn't envision even this much of a reconciliation and at this point Jokic could ask for any number out of the rafters and I'd be okay with it.I had questioned if Carmelo was in that zone and then I saw the other numbers the Nuggets retired and think they pretty much have to do this and ask why they ever reissued 15 at all.

guerrero won an MVP with the angels and was a key part of the best stretch of angels teams they've had in franchise history. not to mention he was the first player to go into the HOF as an angel. there's no doubt they'll retire his # eventuallyDisagree
He only played 6 seasons (846 games) with the Angels
Guerrero's 162 game average from '04 - '09:
104 runs, 33 HR, 118 RBI, 10 SB, .319 AVG, .381 OBP, .927 OPS, 141 OPS+, 4.1 WAR
Mo Vaughn's 162 game average from '93 - '98:
107 runs, 40 HR, 125 RBI, 4 SB, .315 AVG, .405 OBP, .974 OPS, 148 OPS+, 4.3 WAR
Should the Red Sox retire Vaughn's number?
I think someone like Tim Salmon, who spent his entire career with the organization (1672 games), would be more deserving of the honour than Guerrero

he's far more deserving of having it retired than the previous #s the franchise has retired
More importantly: Darko's?Now officially LeBron the only remaining active player from the 2003 draft. How does Carmelo’s retirement affect LeBron’s legacy?
Knicks paying tribute to him on social media but not the Nuggets.
If his exit from the Nuggets wasn’t sour, I think he would’ve gotten the tribute even in the middle of a playoff run. His replacement as the franchise player wearing the same number doesn’t help, either.Nuggets will give him his due, they are sorta busy atm
