He'll be what 37 at the end of this contract? Basically Carter's age. I could see him doing a 2/3 year send off. Even with injuries he looks fantastic still and as driven as he is. You never know. Not like he has family telling him to stop.

It probably depends a lot on the status of the team. If Crosby feels the team is competitive and he has a chance for the cup he might do a 1-2 year extension on his contract. However, if say the last two years on his current contract are bad — no playoffs/not even close - I think he hangs them up at 37.

If he plays just 3,5 more seasons, 600 goals would be great. But it’s gonna be real close. He can’t miss too many games.
If he lays 5,5 more seasons, then he could probably get up to 650. That, to me, seems to be the upper end of how high he can reach. Which of course is outstanding.

If he had played in 150 more games during his prime, he would have made the 700-club.

I think Sid wants another crack at the Olympics. That puts him on 4 more years which should mean 600 goals if he's even halfway healthy.

Depends on how long he plays. If its just until this contract runs out, 600. If he plays until hes around 40, 650.

He'll likely get 10-15 more this season which would put him at 510. That means he'd have to score around 30 a year for the next 3 seasons to hit 600. He could do it if he stays healthy. I also think it's reasonable to assume he will play beyond his current contract if he is still in game shape. I think 630+ is a stretch but not out of the realm of possibility.

600 is achievable if he plays a few more years. He doesn't seem to shoot as much as he used to, so he'll likely average between 25-30 for the next two or three years. So he'll have to play at least 4+ to top 600 (assuming no injuries, either).
