At least for us, several of our former Checkers/Canes were not good enough for the NHL past their stint with us so they won't be scoring goals on us anytime soon.

Also, Justin Faulk was hot garbage that period, and managed two assists. And, the long national nightmare that is Derek Ryan's pointless streak is over, since he deflected (perhaps even intentionally) the outlet pass to TT that led to Aho's goal.
