Laich tries to play a skill-based game at least half the time. Yeah, he also doesn't hit, and he isn't "very" strong on the boards. I guess it depends on how liberally you define power forwardom, but I don't think willingness to go to the crease (on the PP mostly) because it's the only way to have a role on a scoring line/PP unit makes you one.
