This was another tough game to watch.
And it was odd in many ways.
BC crowd was doing the wave when the team was behind by 4 goals. Then the Habs score to bring it within 2, but by that time, the BC empties out. Go figure. And before it even ended ...
Clearly, the fans in attendance at the BC have a whole other perspective than those watching remotely and commenting on fan forums:
There were 2 goals by Hudon to provide some hope toward next season.
There was also some payback with that Caps' 6th goal coming from Jerabek.
However, Galchenyuk gave us something to fawn over with yet another nifty goal:
And so did Galchenyuk's brother from another mother, with those sweet mitts ...
This tank was so deep that even the NHL review people from Trana were in on it:
Just when the Caps were padding their lead, we got temporary relief, thanks to our regularly featured master chef:
And of course, Groove's creations are inspiring others to put up dishes of their own in our GDTs:
And to the above, Maxpacwhereishe added the following SPOILER: "It's hamburger helper."
Groove's gastronomical submissions inspire posters to discuss their own creations ... why, there was Blou's special effects meal ...
Groove also let on a few more tricks up his sleeve. He made what appeared to be an innocuous comment about pics of beautiful women but it opened a door to something interesting. LaP was squarely caught off guard:
The GDT had other moments too.
A failed internet connection was posted, with an image reminiscent of our dial-up AOL days led to this exchange:
(unfortunately can't locate Medzaideva's original post containing the image, which was hilarious)
Then there was a scathing battle of wits ensued between Phillip The Third and Blou.
And Raelians and their spaceship also figured prominently. It began with this meme of Bergevin, the space cadet:

You can't make this stuff up.
Which led to shots fired by Blou using the Raelian theme as a lauching pad:
We were also able to count on sheed36 for a time and he featured, what else, one of his cosmically beautiful Russian curlers:
The above could have been a "Hey now" moment of the night, until ... Calgary Snow, one of our favorite lady Hab fans, threw out an attention-grabbing doozie:
Smart move of the evening? One of our Mods skipped this shitfest altogether:

Good thing there were some GDT moments to hold our attention. Otherwise, it's just another tanking chapter in a season that can't end soon enough ...
