PK is so passive it's painful to watch.

Agreed. For the PK I was hoping Oates would bring in ideas and strategy that NJ employed. Their PK was ridiculously good last year and I believe they led the league in shorthanded goals.

Like you said, PK is way too passive. They don't pressure anybody. They wait for the PPers to make the mistake.

i didnt watch the game. havent seen any video. the caps give up a shg tying goal with ten seconds left and 61 and 55 were on the ice. why? isnt that basic coaching to have your best pair on the ice at the end, not your....61 and 55?

They got stuck out there and were dog tired. Bc the no line change on icing rule we were forced to take a time out and put them back out vs flyers top line. Pretty much everyone knew they were going to score and just hoping the clock runs out before it happened.
