4-1 Caps. Holtby stands on his head. Our only goal against is off Carlson's skate. Ovix2, Kuz and Mojo net our goals

Some consistent play please, for the love of God.

Whoever is in net needs to show the F up tonight. Someone ATTEMPT to grab the starter spot.

Ovi needs a strong showing. No more whiffing shots. No more turnovers. You're the captain, lead by example.

Trotz stick with your lines for one full game please.

This will not please RH!!! :) In my experience line shuffling doesn't accomplish much. As long as you don't have 4th liners playing on the 1st line and have the best players in the lineup it matters not.

Holtby is our starter and there is no question of that. He has to play better.

Ovie looked much improved last couple games. But yes...no more turnovers please.

that doesn't mean a lot til what is up with 65 is seen. is he playing and been demoted or is 92 replacing him because he is injured?

Kuz has looked strong on the puck the last 2-3 games. He's been carrying the puck really well. I can see why Tortz wants him on that 2nd line. Dude also had some really nice chances to score last game.

This line up makes sense. Leave them all together for a full game or 3 dammit.

Trotz said his plan all along was to stick Wilson with Ovi and Nicky. Because Wilson ended up getting hurt, he tried other people.

I'm betting we see that line stick for a while.

Can't say the same for rest of the lines tho.

Kuznetsov's adjustment to NA seems to have taken the next step. Burakovsky maybe needs a bit of easier minutes to get back in his groove. Chimera and Ward back together. Let's see if they can pull out a win.

I'm actually sort of hoping they play well and lose. They need to see that they can't just have a meeting and fix everything. It's actually going to take time and a lot of work (and discipline) and I'm not sure this group of players gets that.

No Coke is just the tip of the iceberg.

you cant have accountability and consistency at the same time. you cant bench or demote someone for not sticking with the program AND keep the lineup the same.

which do we want?

Consistency will come later in the season once the culture of accountability is firmly established IMO. Right now Trotz is still trying to get the players to understand that when they make bad plays it's bad.
