Carrick's deal is for $550K at NHL in 1st two years, $575K third year. Pays $70K at AHL level all three. Includes bonus for signing and GP.

He wasn't drafted out of the CHL so he could go to the AHL this year, doubtful though.

Correct, he's eligible to play in the AHL or be sent back to Plymouth.

Based on his age, etc., if he does not play in 10 NHL games this season, his contract will slide.
