This is a great mystery that I hope gets revealed some day. I suspect Boudreau had a big hand in the change. I'm not convinced McPhee was totally driving that alone.

I'd have to look for the link and probably wouldn't find it, but I recall reading that BB said he regretted it and wouldn't change his system again.
