Worst home effort of the season by far. I'm glad I pay hundreds of dollars a game to watch this ****. For realsies.

Someone tell me why I should be optimistic about this team.

Does Vigneault muster enough emotion for something like this to even matter

#NYR Rangers locker room still not open. Closed-door meeting after the game?

Well at least we broke the win one lose one model. Not too surprised that a team that struggles against the Devils and Sabres would struggle against the Caps. Team looks disinterested in playing. I cant think of one challenging save the AHL goalie had to make. Despite the goals hank gave up, he made at least 5 robbery saves. I wish I knew more about hockey so I could have hope that there is a solution to fix this broken team. We only have a handful of players with value, and I dont want to lose them.

Pouliot scored a goal, so he will be moved up to the 1st line now.

I'm done with Callahan

It's ok, the Jets kicked the snot out of us at home, too.

Yeah, but I was cheering for the Rangers that game. I figured at that point that the Rangers were the most likely of the two to get into the playoffs, so they could use the points more...

Lots of positives to take away from this game.

Once I think of them all I'll come back with a list.

The thing that disturbs me is how ****ing awful "the core" has been.

Because Hanks huge deal tells me Sather still believes in this trash heap of players.

To have Cally + G for 5-6 more years with raises is terrifying.

Yelling doesn't work as a coach. These are grown men. They'll either work or they won't. Shaming them might help, for a time, but at the end of the day you need a leadership group of players who can motivate and instill a losing-is-unacceptable mentality.

How you do it is simple. You don't party after a loss. You don't go and have fun. You are so devastated that you go back and think about everything that went wrong. Winning becomes an addiction, your only reward. You only let yourself enjoy things when you are winning.
