His best game, stats-wise, was his 3rd game.

Game 1:

Ostman - 19:17
Lindelof - 18:49
Pettersson - 15:09

Ostman - 17:50
Lindelof - 16:01
Krupic - 15:39
Lorek - 15:27
Pettersson - 15:07
Loponen - 11:33

Game 6:
Lindelof - 19:24
Flood - 19:22
Lorek - 19:01
Krupic - 17:46
Pettersson - 17:41
Ostamn - 17:10
Loponen - 06:14

The TOI logs are interesting. Pettersson very quickly jumped up to the #2 TOI defender but has seen his time drop the last two games. I believe it is tied to Loponen coming back. The previous game logs had Loponen as a regular so him coming in is shaving time off nearly everyone.

Edit: His secondary assist in game 4 was taken away.

My only exposure to this player (and other prospects) is this thread, which is a pretty good source of information on this player, as it goes way beyond just posting stats.

It looks like Pettersson is a complete defenseman, and has progressed a lot since his draft. If we re-rated him, can we call him a near blue chip prospect? Certainly in a re-draft he would go late 1st round. Really quick turnaround by the management team drafting some real good d prospects in Pettersson, Willander, and Brustiwicz.

If he was doing that in the SHL, that would be one thing. but he's in the league that's a step down.
Still though, he's only 19 so its promising.
any guess on time-frame?
1 or 2 years in the SHl, then a year in the AHL... something like that i figure,

Hannes Hellberg is someone who I’d 100% sign to an ELC.

I was incredibly high on him and wanted us to draft him as an overage pick this past draft. I have literally 0 idea why he wasn’t picked for two consecutive drafts.

He ripped it up in the J20 league and now seems to be taking the next step in the Allsvenskans jusf under a PPG as a 19 year old.

I’m not sure if he’s eligible for the draft again, I think he probably is, so I doubt he’d be able to sign just yet.

Ppg forward in Allsven would be like a 0.25 ppg in the SHL. as a 19 yr old... thats oooookay but not earth shattering. if he was a C id be interested but winger *shrugs*

It’s nice to be drafting quality players in later rounds thanks to competent management. The look on some people’s faces.

According to Elite Prospects he was. Dude always looked like Captain America to me.
I've always thought Edler was the bigger dude, might be because he was taller. or maybe it could be due to the fact I didn't have HD until pretty late at home.

Ohlund was listed as 6'2 220 for most of his Canucks career and then in his mid-30s somehow jumped to 6'4 235.

The weight maybe makes sense as guys tend to add weight with age but I never questioned that 6'2 listing for a second in 15 years of following his career and he certainly didn't look to me like a guy that was 6'4.

What you love about D-Petey is that even as a teenager, he's a 'mean piece of business'. I mean he dishes out some punishing checks along the wall.

Winning puck battles and playing aggressively will serve him well when he transitions to the smaller ice......I'm guessing we might see him in Abbotsford next season, or maybe another year in the SHL-Allsvenskan?
