Is that Blue series really our only sweep ever? That’s so pathetic for an almost 50 year franchise.

So we suck in that regard, but so do Toronto, NYR, Washington and especially Los Angeles. Of those teams, only Vancouver and Toronto have gone Cup-less since 1967

so 15 teams with multiple sweeps.

Surprised to see Col and Dal with only 2 as well.

So many other reasons to consider our franchise pathetic... our sweep count may not be one of them.

It’s actually not as bad as I thought looking at the rest of the league. Some decent teams on there with only 1 or 2 as well.

Lol....I see all the early pre-season polls have the Canucks dead-last in the Western Conference again....and you can't really blame them....if the Canucks bottom out at 30-31st place again, will it represent the worst four-year stretch in the Canucks' 50 year history?

I think they're due for a "fluke season" - think they'll end up something in the twenties in terms of ranking. Where in the twenties will depend on how good of a fluke season the team has.

February 26, 2007 - Jan Bulis jumps on Niklas Hagman and gets piggyback ride to the slot in Dallas then cross checks Marty Turco from behind on the same shift. No penalties called.

5'8" 165lbs. -- He adjusted the microphone as he gets in front.

I didn't really know him but I got respect for this guy.
His career took off in Vancouver, wow! Solid career!

Keith Tkachuk's final playoff game. The rookie season of T.J. Oshie, Jannik Hansen and Patrik Berglund. Paul Kariya didn't get to see playoff action because the series ended so quickly.
