Recalled/Assigned: Canucks re-assign F Nils Aman to Abbotsford, recall F Will Lockwood

I like it. As others have said, Lockwood deserves the callup and Aman goes back and fills the C vacancy left in Abbotsford when the Canucks called up Pederson.

The other thing too is, as much as Lockwood is a prospect he's the older guy than Podkolzin/Hoglander/Aman etc. If the team is patiently developing the younger prospects and having older guys to fill the NHL roster then it stands to reason that Lockwood would be one of the ones in the NHL. Even Studnicka is younger I think.

Will Lockwood has earned his call-up to the Canucks. He's done everything in Abbotsford this season-score, kill penalties, and create havoc with his speed through the neutral zone.

He seems to have added some interesting offensive skill to his game this season. We'll see if any of it translates to the NHL.
