They might be motivated to win it for Bruce Boudreau. However, we did play Tampa like it was game 7 in the Stanley Cup Final while they were playing like they were in the preseason and we still got schooled.

It is just possible that expectations of Petey were over estimated because this old management group desperately needed a huge win in public opinion.
It could be that Petey is just another RNH.
IMO, I still hold with post concussion syndrome and he will get better.
That and, like Edmonton did forever, too much pressure on him and the young guys. We in Vancouver ridiculed them for a decade, the Coilers' and now this city did the same thing.

Hunt should never have been anything other than a veteran for Abbotsford and an emergency callup if we needed a PP guy if Hughes got hurt.

It's insane that we've dicked around with this terrible player on our roster for a half season and done absolutely nothing to try and upgrade.
