Goldobin probably shouldn't be labeled as a prospect at this point in his career. But if he does, this is where I'd put him around regardless.

Goldobin should be excluded from this poll because he has played 61 NHL games. Plus he'll be 23 in October.
I'll reiterate what was said in the first poll: we go by objective, HFBoards-based criteria. This states that a player who has player fewer than 65 games by the end of the season of their 24th birthday, is still considered a prospect. Thus, Goldobin is still considered a prospect. This same rule applied to Virtanen last year, and he was included in the poll as such.

Just trying to be as transparent and objective as possible.

That's fair. It's weird to me that HF has a different criteria for defining a rookie than the NHL, but it is what it is.

Goldy. Then Lind. I am hopeful this is the year Goldy puts together a sustained run. Hopeful he has learned some kind of defensive responsibility.

Who said anything about him being a rookie.

He has not established himself as an NHL player but is still a prospective NHL player. That makes him a prospect by definition.

Put Lind over Goldobin as they both had similar numbers in Jr's but Lind has a lot more grit to his game and more likely to stick in the NHL even if it takes him a few years to work his way up the lineup.Goldobin is a top 6 or bust and needs to add some jam or he's going to become yet another tweener.

Wow what a crushing for Gaudette tho should have gone a few spots earlier. Pretty much DOUBLED the votes Juolevi got :yo:

Anyways voted for LBL here, super excited for this guy cant wait for his NHL debut in October 2019 :yo:

And yet, Juolevi was still recognised as the better prospect.

I too am excited to see how our 8th best prospect, Lind, performs in the AHL this year.

I'm gonna..
Lind, not close for me. Goldobin doesn't really give me the impression that he'll ever make it as a top 6 guy in the NHL.

I did have Jasek in this spot in the list I posted earlier but I guess if Goldobin is eligible then he probably merits this spot. I'm not crazy about him, but, Goldobin it is then.

I voted for Palmu. Almost Goldobin. Palmu's going to turn out to be a player, he just has that aura about him.

Goldobin (unless he proves otherwise this season) still hasn't gotten to the point where you'd say he's on track have a place on a contender's roster.

Jasek and Rathbone are the wildcards.

Lind for my vote. Goldobin probably shouldn't even be in this category anymore...but since he technically is...i'll give the nod to Lind based on him not having shown somewhat extensively that his defensive game isn't going to be good enough to translate...yet. Mystery box and all that.
