Assistant captain at WJC showcase, will almost definitely will wear a letter at the WJCs. Has a legitimate shot at being a Top 4 D in the future

Utunen? Have not seen much, but credit for playing some games in a men's league at age 18
McEneny? Worried about his second major surgery on his left knee
Sautner? May only have bottom pairing potential
Chatfield? Was hoping he would show more offensive flair in AHL
Brassard? Great D+1 year for a 7th round pick

At this point, I'll take the wild card upside of Utunen...

Easily Utunen.

All of the other players are easily replaceable given their NHL projections. Who cares if Sautner has bottom pairing potential. You can literally find that anywhere. Infact we have too much bottom pairing guys that top out at that level.

Haven't checked in on these threads for awhile. Shocked Chatfield is still around - would have been #12 on my list. Decent list overall.

Was impressed with Sauter to end the year because I was expecting nothing. He is either improving or he was being undersold. If team falters as predicted he could get a chance later in year. Yes maybe bottom pair is most he can be but if he was a forward not looking out of place would put he up the ranks. Even scored nice goal that was sadly taken away by video review.
