So Philip Holm, a 25-year old journeyman d-man from the SHL is the leading vote-getter for the 20th-best prospect?...and is Joe Labate still considered a 'prospect'?....has to be Carcone for us, but hardly any votes so far.

Molino for me. Has the biggest skill of the remaining prospects - speed.

Hopefully not Bill Sweatt part 2.

Holm looked like an NHL defenceman at the World Cup and turned down offers from Chicago+Toronto to join us. He has about a 65% chance at cracking the NHL roster. Much better than Pedan+Weircioch.

I think my picks from here out are:

20 Holm
21 Molino
22 Carcone
23 Pedan
24 LaBate
25 Candella

Everything from 23 down is a toss up and Gunnarsson could make his way in.

Whoops voted for the wrong Cole, meant to vote for Cassels. Still hope Cassels can get a bit of his game back and become something passable.

Holm then Molino... have both much higher on my list but been missing votes lately... (not that they would've changed the out come).

Gunnarsson was way better at the top prospects game than Candella. I even like his game more than what I've seen from Pedan.

Since poll still not up for 21... for the record i'm voting Molino in case i miss it lol.

Also i agree that Candella isn't on my list. Unless he has a big year, he'll likely be out of the organization come this time next year. Statistically speaking, he regressed last season. I didn't notice him at all in the prospect game (tho only 1 game). The only scouting reports i remember reading about him this year suggest he has trouble with bigger/stronger players (in the OHL).

Basically hoping we don't turn him into Stewart's replacement...

If Molino is 21 our prospect pool is by far the best it's ever been

After a strong draft to add 6 guys in the top 20, I'd say that's pretty good. Canucks should've started this about a season or 2 ago but it's nice to see Benning&Co actually start to build a solid core of guys that could potentially be NHL players one day.
