Talent wise I'd probably say Subban. He's scored more in the AHL as a defenseman than most of these guys ever will as a forward down there. Im not sure if he ever gets a real chance here but I think he's the best chance at being a NHLer out of the guys remaining and could surprise if he finally makes it.

Going with Brisebois again.

Calm, young defensive defenceman going to play his first year in the AHL. 6'3 190lbs...If he could reach 200ish that would be ideal. Smooth skater too.

Add: Petrus Palmu

Lockwood for the third time in a row.

Add Palmu or McEneny.

Same. Gotta be Lockwood here followed by either Briesbois/Gadvodich but imo those 3 and Lind are all pretty close

I also chose Lockwood here for the third time. I like him as a prospect more than virtanen, Lind, and gadjovich, but what can you do...

Gadjovich

I really had Lind/Gadjovich/Lockwood close to each other but decided it to be in that order...

Our prospect pool is actually deep for once...Assuming these guys will pan out.

Went with Lockwood.

A difficult choice between him and Gad. Went with greater upside over greater chance of success.

I would argue that, even if half pan out, the pool is still deep. Legitimate 10 to 12 prospects have a chance at playing in the NHL. Some won't but it's way better than hoping Grenier will make it.

Gadjovich is still my dark horse candidate to make the team this year.

Could be the linemate the Sedins have always needed.

Or he could be a lead footed slug who only got drafted so high because Suzuki was good at banking shots off him.

I choose to be unreasonably optimistic for now.
