The biggest difference in McKegg's and Maenalanen's play as opposed to Kuokkanen's can be summed up in one word: Confidence. Both of those guys looked like the felt like they belonged and weren't star struck at all. My sense in that Kuokkanen's tentative play was because of a lack of confidence and a fear of making mistakes. McKegg's been there before and Saku played in Liiga play in Finland. As far as Maenalanen is concerned, he's an easy keep as a 4th liner who can play up a line in a pinch. He's noticeable each time he's on the ice....that guy's an easy replacement for PDG in my estimation.
