Interesting to see how the team responds after the leaf game. Either it's a confidence builder and the team believes they can hang with these types of teams when they play them.

Or, the lack of 2 points when playing a pretty decent game could make them think that even their best is not good enough.

Now, I know as a fan that this team is not good enough, but I hope the players don't feel that way, because it would make the games really dull to watch.

FINALLY this team is heading in the right direction. If we could somehow get a 2nd line centermen, put Danault on the 3rd line and Domi back to the wing, I don't see why we couldn't make the playoffs.

I think it's wiser if they hold off on his 1000th game. The home opener will already have a ceremony honoring the '93 Champions. No need to add another ceremony for Plekanec. They'll have that another game.
