Strange....why sign them in the first place??
To be exactly there on the taxi squad
At this stage...pretty much every team is set.
So i'd be surprised if either were picked.
Then again, I said i'd be surprised if Juulsen got picked on waivers
So what the hell do I know lol
Its strange people are having a hard time getting a grasp on this..
In any other year we dont sign either one of them as everyone can and could plainly see, we've had a FULL roster for quite a while now.. to the point of even having Lehkonen and Byron on the 4th line BEFORE the signings anyway...these were insurance signings , specifically for taxi squad purposes
It would be great to see Perry play some games for us but these guys are not the be all end all for this team...this is just business as usual...If they dont get claimed , great, some help waiting in the wings, if they get claimed, there are literally plenty of fish in the sea
Still strange....don't see other teams signing ufa's to build a taxi squad? To be exactly there on the taxi squad

Old Legs Thornton and Wayne Simmonds were not put on waivers. Look at how deep their forward corps already was..?
I see it your way as well, why not just wait for the waiver wire and fill a hole on the roster if necessary?Still strange....don't see other teams signing ufa's to build a taxi squad?
How is this a rumor, I thought it was fact. Corey Perry, Loui Eriksson headline busy day on NHL's waiver wire
