Canadian VS American Jr. Hockey

Which leagues from America, or Canada would be best to enter at 18 years old. I'm not there yet but I'd like to plan this out. I would like to develop and get into a D3 school. Maybe D1 if my talent develops like people say it will. Which league/leagues would be the most beneficial to develop my talent further and help me into college. Thanks.

Midget AA NIHL u16.

Possibly Central States which is close to AAA but not quite there yet, but the tryout results aren't posted yet.

AAA is almost not an option. Family doesn't have the money.

Your best bet is to try out for one of the NAHL teams closest to you. A lot of players come out of that league and go D111 colleges

Looks like I may not have a place to play after all.

First team I tried out for folded and the team I'm trying out for now may not have enough players.
