Good match. Such patience. We are a fierce counterattacking team, but when the other team doesn't really attack you have nothing to counter

I found there was a BIG difference in the attacking capabitlies after the subs, just in decision making alone. Larayea had a tough night imo... but was still decent; this is what it's come to. Little shakey in the last 5 there with some missed plays on the defensive side that thankfully went unconverted. Thought their goalie made that a game with some saves in the first 25... there were at least 2 goals on boots that he prevented.

Imagine a time when we can NOT play 5 or 6 regulars and still pull out the win... in Central America... on a 3rd game in 7 days no less... I mean, there are no more words... just Canadian pride!

Mexico's got Honduras, El Salvador and the U.S. at home in March. Can't see them not qualifying.

Very true, but keeping Panama at 17 is a much better scenario for us. It would take us losing out and Panama winning out for them to pass us, rather than 2 wins a draw to get level and us losing out. I know it's highly unlikely either way, but I'm paranoid and can't get comfortable until I see that X beside our name

Mexico win is better. If my work is correct a Mexico loss tonight means a USA Panama draw would be needed for Canada to fall out of the top 4, while any Panama points mean that they could lose that US game and still have Canada drop to 5.
