Kudos to Canada because they played a great game against the US. But how could the Americans play so poorly and uninspired? I saw 4 US players side by side..covering the Canadian puck carrier..in their own end, on 1 particular play. What kind of coverage was that? They seemed completely out-coached. And totally uninspired and unenergetic. Yes, I know...part of the reason for this was Canada's terrific physical forecheck and play. But what the H? You can't say it was because of the pressure of "playing at home"....because 90% of the people in the stands were Canadian fans.
