Can we revamp the top 100 list?

How about instead overrating guys who dominated beer league eras, we rank the top 100 based on how good they were at ice hockey.

As I said in the Crosby thread, Malkin is definitely in the top 100. That is not even in debate imo.

I didn't read the list or take it seriously when I heard that Malkin wasn't in it.
Its a damn shame he was overlooked. His whole career he has been in Ovi and Sids shadow.
I would take him 100 time out of 100 over Ovi and 40 times out of 100 over Sid.

I forget its name but there was already a recent book published which fixes a lot of the mistakes on the NHL's top-100 list.
Also, I'm not sure about that 'beer league era' BS. In the late 50s to the 60s up to the expansion, there was a **** tonne of competition because there were only six friggin teams with roster spots. A lot of good players rotted in the minors.

The biggest thing that bugs me about the list is that they put Sundin on there ahead of Iginla. I really can't find an argument there
