The Wolf Pack have also signed F Cedric Lacroix to a PTO. Lacroix, 26, appeared in 26 ECHL games with the Indy Fuel in 2020-21, scoring six points (5 g, 1 a) and collecting 58 penalty minutes. The Shefford, Quebec, native has appeared in 13 career AHL games over the span of three seasons with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, Charlotte Checkers, and Bridgeport Islanders. Training Camp. The Checkers cut down their training camp roster by six following Sunday’s scrimmage.
Forward Justin Nachbaur and goalie Evan Fitzpatrick, both signed to AHL contracts, have been assigned to the ECHL’s Greenville Swamp Rabbits.

Additionally, forwards Maxime Fortier and Max Zimmer and defensemen Ethan Cap and Alec Rauhauser have been released from their PTOs.

Forwards Bryan Lemos, Nick Pastujov, Mikael Robidoux and Lane Scheidl have been released from their respective training camp tryouts and assigned to Stockton’s ECHL affiliate, Kansas City. Robidoux has been signed a two-way, AHL-ECHL deal for the 2021-22 season. Additionally, defensemen Keoni Texeira has been released from his training camp tryout.

Additionally, forwards Shawn McBride, Matt Tugnutt, and Chase Zieky, defensemen Darren Brady, and goaltender Matt Jurusik have been released from their professional try-out contracts. Defenseman Spenser Young has also been loaned from the Stars to the team’s ECHL affiliate, the Idaho Steelheads.

HARTFORD, CT – The Hartford Wolf Pack announced on Friday afternoon the team’s season opening roster for the 2021-22 American Hockey League (AHL) season. The club’s opening roster will include 13 forwards, eight defensemen and three goaltenders.

To reach this mark, the club has released the following players from their Professional Tryout Agreements (PTO): F Brandon Hawkins, D Blake Hillman, and F Cedric Lacroix. All three have been returned to their respective ECHL clubs.

The club has also loaned F James Sanchez and F Alex Whelan to the ECHL’s Jacksonville Icemen, while the National Hockey League’s (NHL) New York Rangers have recalled F Greg McKegg.

In addition, the Wolf Pack received F Morgan Barron from the Rangers via assignment on October 11th.

The Wolf Pack have also agreed to a PTO with veteran F Pierre-Cedric Labrie. A veteran of 629 AHL games, Labrie has recorded 198 points (89 g, 109 a) and 1,105 PIM’s during his 14 seasons in the league.
