You dont think a long playoff run is taxing? What about Vlasic and E. Johnson's drop off. Im pretty sure Goligoski is the only defense at 35+ to receive a big deal recently.

I guess, but Petry's decline this season doesn't look related to physical play. He's still skating well, he's still physically engaged and he's making plays.

It honestly looks like, just like literally every other player to lace up for the Habs this season, it was primarily Ducharme's "system". He's basically been at his expected level of play since MSL took over.

Please no. Stone is a fantastic #7 and Mackey and Valimaki can walk in and be solid bottom pairing guys.

As a Habs fan I've never really liked him much but now that he's getting regular time this year I think he has looked a lot better. That said I see no reason for the Habs to keep him.
