He deserves a thread. He was part of the NTDP team from last season that got silver at the WJC18.

He played on the fourth line, but he was one of the good prospects on that team that played a very minor role. He has really good speed and is a good penalty killer. He can play center or wing. I think he had more offensive ability than he showed on that team. He wasn't playing a big offensive role, so the point totals weren't high, but this season he has 22 points in 24 games as the captain of Central Illinois. He's a little undersized at 5'10, but he's 185 pounds, so he already has a pro build. I think he's likely more of a mid-round pick than first round pick, but its too early to know exactly where he'll go in the draft.

Not likely he's a guy that ever carves out an NHL career but in the 5th round, he's a good guy to get in your organization nonetheless. He'll probably be a guy that's a stalwart on your AHL team that plays the game in a way you'll want your more highly touted prospects to learn from as they progress through the farm team to the NHL. Similar to a guy like Cole Bardreau.

Looks like he’s having a decent start at ND, 5 points in 6 games, can anyone comment on how he’s looked in college?
