Well-deserving of his own thread. I see him and Dean as essentially on the same level, with either equally capable of sneaking into the end of the first round.

Dean is more skilled, he has that extra offensive touch and a skating edge - Kidney is a really smart player though, its possible he could be better in the long run.

Bathurst looks really good, hard tell when they have 2 opponents but Kidney, Huckins, Melanson, and Biggar could all be picked in the draft - a solid core of 17 yo's.

has played in total of 39 games this season, 50 points.
- interesting tit bit; most of his 35 assists are primary assists
to be exact , 31 primary assists!. 31/35, that's almost 90%!.

where'd you get the primary assist data? i know you can look it up game by game in
the summary, but is there an easier way?

Highlights and box score (game summary), but really should watch highlights,
because, sometimes they get it wrong and not always fix it.

In his case, it was a one rebound, that became a primary
and one actual primary, his first secondary was a nice feed

not very difficult, nor time consuming (at least not on computer)

Smart, smart player who enjoys making the players around him better, arguably the top playmaker in the Q last season. If he gets stronger and faster, he's got a real shot at being a middle six center in the NHL, it'll take awhile but he's got a pretty compelling hockey brain.

Maybe he does a Bergeron as Montreal is dying for a center this year.

Continues to play well in the preseason. goal and an assist in a 2-5 loss to the Islanders.

His ability to win face-offs has been great, almost 60% at the dot,
sure its the preseason, but impressive nevertheless

real solid preseason for him with 6 pts in 3 games, has a good bit of work to do on the physical tools, adding strength, mass, improving skating, speed. Really like the passing game though, good vision for sure.
