Will he play full time in the NHL next season and how was his season compared to what was expected? I saw a few games he played in the AHL, and thought he looked NHL ready. The Islanders could sure use a minimum salary player to help out their cap issues.

He seems to be off to a decent start for HIFK. Is he likely to open the season with the Islanders or stay in Finland most of the year?

If there's an AHL season, he'll be in the A. If not, he'll be in Finland. We have limited depth at C so it's always a possibility that Lou will want him around but he needs to be playing as much as possible. He'd be the 1st line center at Bridgeport so I think that's preferred.

His skating still doesn't look great, not sure if it is good enough for NHL yet. Only his second season playing center full time so it might be better to play in Liiga / AHL for the year.
