Hlinka's Hlinka. Don't use it as a measuring stick. It has the same issues as the summer WJCs just had: it's a summer tournament.

Any chance he could bounce back this coming season? I had quite high hopes for him after his 21/22 season.

Yeah I was massively disappointed with him. Weak and sluggish. I'm not sure he'll be more than just a euro player. I'd still take a late round flyer on him

Orebro had plenty of centers so Carlsson played a lot of wing. He was good during top-10 play and gave a solid effort in the Djugardens series. His tournaments were quiet but not always about points IMO. He hustles, was quick to the puck, blanketed his man at the point, and was open a lot but passes were late or never attempted. They used him on PP1 and showed a nice touch and fakes. Smart player who doesn’t have tunnel vision. He’ll be a longshot to get drafted but I didn’t think his massive drop in CSB’s ranking was warranted. Maybe something else who knows.

LA Kings had a camp with draft eligible players in germany recently, Carlsson was one of the invited players.
