Extremely skilled player. Does most of his damage on the power play. Honestly, he's probably a top 5 02 born player with the puck on his stick in the offensive zone.

Can get a little lost 5 on 5, as he likes to control possession at all times, instead of moving the play forward. And though he has very quick feet, isn't the rangiest player.

Really, really fun to watch.

Well, he scored both of his points in 5 on 5, when it was 3-3 and 4-3, so turned out to be pretty clutch...

Yeah, I should amend that a little bit. He's not a BAD 5 on 5 player, it's just that his bread and butter is the powerplay. He's absolutely dynamite with the puck on his stick deep in the offensive zone.

Penn State has some absolutely filthy recruiting classes coming in a few years...their staff has really recruited the heck out of the 2002 & 2003 age group...not sure if they will all end up there (seems unlikely) but they are definitely trying to build a hockey powerhouse in Happy Valley. I mean just from Canadian '02's they already have Will Cuylle and Barnes...then you've got some '03 USA studs and potential future USNTDP kids in Dylan Gratton, Drew Tsakounis and Carter Schade plus current USNTDP U17 forward Daniyal Dzhaniyev and also Ryan Kirwan, Tyler Paquette, Dane Dowiak, etc...all 2020 or 2021 commits.

Wish he would decommit and come to Owen Sound, we could use exciting players like him.

Yeah tough break for you guys. A kid indicates to a team that he will report and then reneges on it after said team takes him early. I’m not crazy about that

There’s an opening on Owen Sound’s top line this year (with Nick Suzuki) which is where is suspect they wanted him to play. Josh won’t get any greater opportunities than that over the next few years.

3+1 in 4 games at U20 tournament. A funny thing, he didn't score a single point vs Chinese team, the weakest team of the tournament, but he scored vs Loko, Jokerit and XV71
