C Joey Ratelle - Drummondville Voltigeurs, QMJHL (2014 undrafted)

Anyone have any info on him, playing style, likely draft position...etc.? His last name popped out at me cause of Jean Ratelle...I'm guessing there is no relation there?

Ratelle is, so far, exceeding expectation, even if it is early in the season, but we all knew he had talent. Think powerforward with fighting skills

at 5'8" and 146 lbs I'm a bit surprised to hear he's a power forward who fights.

He's now listed at 5'10 170 but yeah he's definately an energy player. So far in his Q career he averages 1PIM per game. He's fast and doesn't mind the rough stuff at all. Good shot as well.

Player that does it all on the ice and is just starting to gain some confidence. Very small which will hurt his draft chances though. Always getting his nose dirty, fast and good offensive instincts.

Wouldn't count on him for anything really at this point, just a project.
