It was a good goal.

Not sure what the controversy is - they took their time (a lot of it), deemed that the players tagged up as the puck crossed back into the zone, and therefore the play was all onside.

The number of times when the commentary team spends the entire review talking about the wrong thing has to be much greater than the number of times video has actually been wrong.

Case in point here. Broadcasters spend the entire time contemplating whether the puck left the zone, and don't bother checking whether there were actually Sabres players in the zone before the puck entered.

Onside by the rules. People really should know by now that if you tag up before your teammate (re)gains possession inside the zone, it's completely fine.

While it might seem that the carrier has possession the whole time, I think it is actually best that it's ruled like it is. Least amount of grey area this way.
