5 pointa behind Montreal for tops in the conference with a game in hand. Plus there's a bit of separation between us and the teams trying to get into a wildcard spot. Not bad considering the relatively lackluster start to the season.

The next couple of games are very winnable on paper. The point streak is nice but it would be great if this team could put together a few wins in a row and really gain some ground in the standings. Boston keeps winning and Montreal is staying afloat. Good thing is Ottawa may be starting to drop off, and Tampa is yet to heat up much.

Let's see if Eichel vs. Larkin is a more impressive battle this time around. I hope Eichel stays quiet at least..
