brutal non call??? Kronwall is a dumbass and tripped on the dasher....just typical finish to a game for this team...unforced turnovers, poor decisions under pressure, no timely goaltending

Welcome back NHL refs. Blown call in the end gives the ducks a goal. Its nice to see some things never change.

That was definitely not a penalty... look at the replay.
Kronwall tripped over the boards.

Detroit outplayed them and a brutal way to lose, but the ref made the correct decision... not even sure Getzlaf actually touched Kronwall, but I know for fact he never hooked him.

Even Getzlaf thought he was getting a penalty. You can see him let up for a split second after he got the puck

Disgusting. No point hanging their heads now though.

Another well played game by the boys. Couple of notes:

- Smith had a couple Smith moments
- Quincey has been real good
- 4th line was fantastic
- Abdelkader was good and set a tone, but the 1st line got better with Nyquist
- Nyquist had a Datsyuk like shift late in the 3rd; that was special
- Nestrasil looked much more comfortable out there tonight
- Tough night for the Kid line, but that's going to happen
- Howard is so bad with the puck behind the net

I really like this team though. And we haven't even ice our most exciting player yet. Keep it going.

Used to be heavily penalized, anyway.

Really impressed with the Wings play. Franzen looks like a new player, Gus is as dangerous as he was on that streak. Smith had another good game.

Good puck control and they were physical tonight. They outplayed Anaheim, but Perry and Getzlaf are so freakin dangerous everytime they get on the ice.

No way that is a hook with 26 seconds left, just a great play by Getzlaf (had one hand on his stick) and as others mentioned Kronwall lost his footing in tight quarters.

If they called that on Z the opposite way, we would be rightfully up in arms.

Questionable non-call but blame the missed goal scoring chances before blaming the refs. Have to score or it will come back to haunt you like it did tonight

That has to be called, a hook like that gets called 95% of the time. Absolutely demoralizing way to lose. I would rather lose 8-0, then to lose like this. Wings were the better team, played a great game, and come away with no points.

So frustrating....
