I've always liked the Blues & it would be great if they won it all this year. Especially against PITT.

I had no idea about "#BluesforBoston," so that's all the more reason to cheer their fanbase on.

Ironically, my consolation prize would be Joe finally raising the Cup. People can say what they will about him, but he's a great player -- *still* -- and I'm rooting for him, too.

In the event, hop on board, ladies & germs, :)

4. I don't dislike Tampa but they are 4 on my list

3. The Pens are three- I like Mike Sullivan and after reading what Kessel said about Claude and his experience here I'm on his side. You guys and my kid can all hate the Pens I can't completely

2. Blues- would be great for that franchise - I remember how bad it was when I think they skipped the draft one year. Very like able team. If only Sobotka was on it.

1. Why not. I will always be a Thornton guy and what guy wouldn't like to hang with Burns or women cuddle with him. Joe Pavelski is Everyman. Logan Couture was sooooo close to being the Hamil pick

The West is where I'm hanging my emotions

My rules of thumb if the Bruins aren't in it.

San Jose, St. Louis., Tampa Bay, Pittsburgh

Team si not the Pittsburgh Penguins or Montreal Canadiens
San Jose, St. Louis, Tampa Bay

Have any teams never won the cup? If all teams have won, which have won the fewest.
San Jose and St. Louis

Of those teams, which has been around the longest since they last won or have been in the league.
St. Louis.

I'm rooting for St. Louis, and I also have some friends from there, so I'm rooting with them.

I've been rooting for STL all along. Gotta admit I'm at odds with SJ and big Joe though. I've still got a dusty #6 sweater sitting in my closet. :)

I also have trouble rooting against either Eastern team. I used to not like Crosby but that's kind of faded. Kessel used to bug me too but like Dan his words about Julien being a great coach softened that. He's been a beast on that third line for Pitt. How do you match up with that? Still don't like seeing them wear the Bruins colors though.

Good summary - just realized no game tonight. Boo

That SJ-STL series should be great

I think SJ has that Kings magic dust and they are going all the way

This board is to positive lately we need a Joe Thornton why did we trade him thread in mid June

Maybe Joe will bring the Cup to Hooters parking lot in Saugus

I've only been watching hockey for real since 2010, sooooo honestly my opinion doens't matter much here, but...

Can't root for ****sburgh for several obvious reasons. Matt Cooke may be gone, but Crosby is not. I've never liked their incessant whining and diving, and even if a former Bruins coach is theirs now, I still never want to see them win. That said, if they do, whatever. Guess it's better than Montreal getting it.

Can't get behind Tampa Bay, though why, I am not entirely sure. I just don't care about them. If they win it all, they have my respect, but that's about it. I don't care if they win or lose at this juncture, though seeing them beat ****sburgh will incline me to like them a bit more.

San Jose? Mehhh. They have Thornton, so I guess for his sake I wouldn't hate it if they won. I just feel like they've constantly been overrated throughout the years as the Caps of the West; always good, never good enough to get it done.

St. Louis has had my attention ever since Hitchcock was hired. I'm sure i'm not the only one here who thought of them at one point as the Bruins of the Western Conference. I like Backes, though I know some of you don't. I liked Oshie when he was playing with them (Random But Cool Aside here, but OSHIE flew back from the game 6 a few days ago and ended up shopping at my furniture store in Leesburg, VA. I went right by him and nodded, didn't realize who I had just nodded to until I was ten feet away. I ended up selling him a very nice rug...)

Go Blues. Only team I like or don't immediately dislike!

Blues vs Tampa, don't care who wins, like them both. Maybe leaning a little towards STL because they have never won a Cup and TB has.

This is the matchup I want. Blues all the way! Tarasenko is nasty

I would be fine with anyone winning... Besides Pittsburgh.

Would be good to see the Blues win, I like most of their team. Would like to see Marleau and Joe finally get a Cup. Tampa is a very young and exciting team, nothing against them... No comment for the last team.

I've been for the Blues simply because their last real chance at the cup made for the most iconic scene in Bruins history.

Anyone as old as I am should be rooting for Saint Louis.

Tampa is #2, though I still find abhorrent the fact that the NHL has 2 teams in Florida and one in the hell-hole of Phoenix while Seattle, Quebec City, Portland ORE, Salt Lake City & Milwaukee go without.

SJ is #3, because Jumbo Shrimp Joe played his way out of town and I despise players who do that.

And Pits-Dirt is #29. I hate, Hate, HATE everything about that dirty, hypocritical, whiny, girly-man franchise, from the top (Lemieux) down (big-lipped Cindy Crosby).

For me it's Blues all the way,

Tampa next on my list , not because I love or hate them just the lesser evil to me.

Like any Bruins fan that bleeds Black and Gold, I despise the Pens, problem is I despise Jumbo Joe even more. Gotta take Pens over Sharks if it comes to that.

Am I the only guy who ever heard all the anti-Bruins sound bites Jumbo Joe offered up over the years. Reading on these boards it sure sounds like it. Sorry, **** Jumbo Joe hope he never wins anything. Retire sucking it.

I'm pulling for the blues. I like their style of play. Hoping the lightning can pull through their injury trouble to top Pitt.
