GM Krueger held a press conference at 9am this morning after an all-nighter at the Rusty Bean negotiating a deal with GM Niece of the Detroit Red Wings. He announced that a deal had been reached between the two organizations: "I've got good news for our fans today - Bill Guerin is coming to Beantown."( note: Despite playing for the NHL Bruins in 01/02, he has never been an HFNHL Bruin under Krueger's watch ). The thousands that had gathered outside the tavern cheered with delight - the Bruins had been looking for a substantial upgrade on the wing in order to compete for the cup. Krueger continued, "Mark Parrish, Dominic Moore and our 5th round selection in this year's draft have gone to Detroit. We wish them all well, including whomever the 5th round selection ends up being." Bill Guerin then emerged from the tavern to shake hands with fans and the media. Krueger finished the conference by raising a glass to the new winger - and the crowd followed suit. The Bruins are stronger after this trade, and the fans are pumped. This organization is serious about it's quest for Lord Stanley.
