</p> The Boston Bruins traded Dougie Hamilton to the Calgary Flames for a first round pick and two second-round picks in the 2015 NHL Draft. The three picks Boston received are the 15th, 45th, and 52nd in what promises to be the deepest draft in over a decade.

Although the move will likely be unpopular among Bruins fans, it suggests that the team*expected to lose Hamilton to an offer sheet this summer.
