Solid AHL tender, though his numbers seemed to take a hit the last couple years even last year with a good Springfield team. I was surprised he was not dressed in the deciding game against Providence in the first round after being sent back by Columbus.

Springfield has lost both its goalies (McKenna signed with Phoenix). :(

Crap. I was hoping he'd end up with an AHL West team. That means he'll be in Portland. And Providence will make him look like Bernie Bleeping Parent 8 times a year plus maybe playoffs.

POINTLESS MOVE. Svedberg is just as good as this goof.:shakehead

Why are you calling a professional hockey player a "goof"? Show some respect.

And you might be better served to learn more about the Bruins and their overall team needs before posting stuff like this. Embarrassing.

Genius move by Chiarelli. Of course Svedberg is getting the job as backup with the Bruins. This is just to give Sveddy a little jump to make him compete. Make him want it.

Pretty much. This move is to ensure Providence has 2 goalies going into camp.

Big club: Rask/Svedberg

P-Bruins: Subban/Smith.
