didn't realize the B's had so many open contract slots to fill. A sign they will be letting a few guys walk this summer.

Now this is a signing I like. Love his attitude might be a huge steal wish he was a winger though...

Report: Bruins sign WHL forward Colby Cave to 3-year, entry-level contract


The Boston Bruins have turned westward to strengthen their prospect pool.

The club has signed Swift Current Broncos center and captain Colby Cave to a three-year, entry-level contract, according to Bob McKenzie of TSN.

The undrafted 20-year-old recorded 35 goals and 40 assists in 72 WHL games this season, one year after another 70-point effort (33 goals, 37 assists).
