Patrice Bergeron (broken nose) took a maintenance day

Charlie Coyle, Matt Grzelcyk, Tomas Nosek, and Linus Ullmark missed practice due to non-COVID related illness

Charlie McAvoy is feeling better and skated before practice

Bruce Cassidy is feeling better but still has symptoms so he will not be going on the trip



Marchand on having Tuukka Rask at practice this morning:

"It's always fun having him out there. It's incredibly frustrating shooting on him. You try to shoot as hard as you can, and he just makes it look so simple."

Seems not, unfortunately. Between that, Cassidy still missing, and the Canucks looking for a new coach bounce, the Bs are certainly up against it. Nothing for it but to be resilient and find a way to get a positive result. The team's battling its fair share of adversity, as most do over the course of a long season. How will it respond? At least Marchand is back.

also, with Coyle sick I wonder if they could bring in Studnicka. With Haula and Coyle showing some chemistry I've been thinking it's time for another look at Studnicka with Hall. Might as well do it now while Coyle is ill. Unless Providence is still covid-locked too.
