Lol I'd sooner expect a mini-me Gary Bettman to jump out of the original Bettman's ass than I would San Jose trading an asset to help the Golden Knights out with a roster hole.

surprised the Leafs arent listed, but that may be due to lacking draft picks.

I think the consensus on the asking price was a 2nd+prospect. So best prospect would win

the Deboer effect. Doug would probably charge an extra premium to Vegas but since the Sharks are out of the hunt I’m sure he just wants the best return for a pending UFA.

Washington and Boston? Yeah...OK.

Sounds like DW leaking to try to gin up the market/leverage a better return.

Bruins have so many defensemen

why

Yeah, it's absurd for Boston. They have 5 top-4 D-men (McAvoy, Carlo, Krug, Chara, Grzelcyk), 3 bottom pairing guys (Lauzon, Clifton, Moore), and 2 more that can be relied on in a pinch (Kampfer, Vaakanainen). And that doesn't include Kevan Miller, who if he returns to form or close to it when/if he comes back, is another bottom pairing guy.
