I've thought this for some time but having both Slavin and Pesce, great players but entirely defense oriented, has hampered our ability to develop top 4 PP capable players. You almost have to have a player like TDA a 7th or bottom pairing PP person on the team which is not ideal. Relying on Burns for anything more than a stop gap was absolutely foolish.

Once again our goalie didn’t make the big save and theirs did. TNT said second goal on oyotr. Last 2 goals were on pyotr.

Ultimately special teams cost us again.

Need a gm or coaching re adjustment.

The core guys just haven’t got it done on the PP again and again and again and again and again. The mix just isn’t good enough.

Yep. Our PP is actually f***ing negative. That right there is reason 1, 2, and 3 why we can't score.

If we got performances like tonight from Kochetkov in games 1 and 2 we also would have won those. Rod stuck with Andersen too long when he was struggling. He couldn't fix the PP. Every game has been one goal, stupid unforced errors are the difference. The Canes have been shooting themselves in the foot at every turn.
